Madzine (Chocolate Cream Egg Edition, 2024)

In this special edition of Madzine Magazine (Chocolate Cream Egg edition) I have recreated my cherished scrapbook of Madness newspaper cuttings, which I have kept for over four decades. This Madzine holds precious memories that I collected during the 80s, reminding me of the joys and challenges of that era. It’s incredible to see how much has changed since then, but this scrapbook is a testament to the value of preserving history and memories.

It’s an exciting time to be a Madness fan and for the next generation to experience a “Fanzine” and its fascination. Of course, the original core fanbase of the 80s is already comfortable in their past. Like all literature, each has its look, feel, taste, and character. Complete and Utter Madness (Madzine) is no different; in this special issue, we look at my childhood photo scrapbook that includes pictures from different news outlets. You’ll get to see rare and never-before-seen images of Madness that have been hidden for the past thirty years.

It’s been several years since any such issue of a Madness zine landed on anyone’s doorstep.
